Living in the US for many years, I was a guidebook editor in Seattle and a book editor at Workman Publishing in New York, publishers of 1000 Places to Visit Before You Die. I am also fluent in French and worked for the Bordeaux Wine Trade Council.

My specific interests include:

* food and wine
* cultural and indigenous stories
* active adventures such as hiking and kayaking

I divide my time between a treehouse in Sydney and a farmhouse in Bordeaux, France with extended stays in the United States.
