Arnie Weissmann is editor in chief of Travel Weekly and executive vice president/editorial director of parent company, Northstar Travel Group.

Weissmann initially wrote travel articles for consumer outlets from the Washington Post to the LA Times. He subsequently launched Weissmann Travel Reports (unbiased country profiles, now incorporated into Northstar’s Travel42.)

He also created AOL’s destination database, authored a geography textbook and was publisher of critical hotel and destination guides in the U.S. and U.K.

Weissmann is seen on PBS’ “Travel Detective;” his commentary has appeared on CBS, NBC, CNN, BBC, Sky News and NPR, and has been quoted in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today.

He’s also a board member of Tourism Cares, and has been a repeat guest lecturer at Cornell University.

Jamie Biesiada is a senior editor with Travel Weekly. She is an award-winning journalist, most recently being named the American Society of Travel Advisors’ 2019 Travel Journalist of the Year. Biesiada’s roots are in community journalism, where she was the editor of several local newspapers and a regional entertainment magazine. She lives on the Jersey Shore with her wife, Kim, and their dog, Waverly.

Jeri Clausing is a senior editor covering river cruising, tour operators and luxury travel trends for Travel Weekly.

A veteran newspaper and wire service reporter and editor, she developed wanderlust from her father, who moved the family from Michigan to American Samoa to Texas to Saudi Arabia.

From 2007 to 2011, Clausing was Travel Weekly's hotels editor, providing in-depth coverage of trends in the luxury and hotel sectors, including detailed reports from development hot spots around the world.

She currently lives in Corrales, New Mexico, with her husband, Brian Fitzgerald, and their three dogs and a cat.

Johanna Jainchill is news editor for Travel Weekly, with a focus on cruise and travel policy coverage. Most recently destinations editor, she previously covered travel technology, travel retail, and the cruise industry for the publication. Jainchill has written for USA Today, BBC News America, Conde Nast Traveler and the New York Times and is a recipient of the New York Times Chairman's Award.
